My Mama died this June 7th 2024. She physically died but she died before that in 2003 when her beloved husband died suddenly in his sleep at 59 years old. She just never recovered or became her "old self." I took care of her for a decade because she was trying to kill herself with booze and cigarettes. Please don't be like her. Her quality of life was terrible for many years. She mourned and mourned until she was 79 years old 😢 I miss her so much it hurts

I paused the video nine minutes in to post my frustration with the brutal music soundtrack and noticed the post below by Mercedes which I totally agree with. It's so bad I can't even watch any more although I wanted to as I also have lost a child and really appreciate the folks being interviewed for sharing their stories.

For a couple, the grief can tear their relationship apart. From: "Word Songs of Love and Life" “Yours Is My Sorrow” Albert Moore Yours is my sorrow, thus must we part. Brought to our knees from same, stilled heart. What I can give, I cannot receive. What you so mourn, I cannot relieve. We shared the joy, the hope and fear. Now more suffering it is to be near. So dark is my soul, I cannot reveal In anguished grief the love I feel. In time, as it comes, I desperately pray I will find the words we need to say. Now we must wait for pain’s release. Only then, together, finding solace and peace. Somewhere, beneath grief too heavy to bear, Know that my love for you is still there.

My life has never been the same and never will be! One piece of advice I’d like to give is allow yourself grace and to feel happiness again. It takes time but I promise you those days will come. I lost my wife Darla of 41 years on August 6 2023. She was admitted tot he hospital for leg cramping which turned out to be an unforeseen blood clot. From enjoying an average summer Saturday afternoon to gathering family the next day and then myself having to make the decision to stop care, in a 24 hour period. We did not have a final goodbye. We were one week away from going on vacation by ourselves. To this day i am not ready to disturb her personal effects left on her dresser, etc. I now am living alone and despite the genuine efforts to offer comfort from friends and family, the emptiness runs in the background. My three children lost their loving mom. I treasure what we had and will forever love her and miss her. She was my Queen Bee.

I lost my 24years old brother by accident near our house . He hit on the electricity post . When i went there i saw him lying on the side with flooded of blood. I just had a heavy breathing i was crying. Everyone knows that he will not survive because he started gaaping. Gasping is the last process of death I don't know too much about that. Then i took him to hospital . After new hours doctor call me and i saw him on ventilator dat sight i will never forget. His body is ok not even one scratch but then i saw his heavy bleddings from nose and ear. Around 2hours he declared death. I went to this body and kiss him . Its feel like he is sleeping. He was too much attached to me. Then i cried and call my father and told him that he was death. He died on 25march 2024. Its been 2months. I m feeling like i have no emotions. Everyone says don't cry but it is easy to say . Only we know how we are dealing with these emotions. May his soul rest in peace in heaven. Plzz guys pray for our family.. My loving brother Simon..

Unless you have been through it, you just don’t get it. You wish they could understand but even that feels wrong cause that would mean they would have to lose a child to get it. And trust me when I say I understand when you say you have no heart to live or when you say you didn’t think you were going to be able to live. I truly believed I was going to die. I felt my body was going to die. I lived with someone that I cried out to in pure belief crying, screaming, I’m can’t do this, I’m not going to make it, I can’t survive this. I really thought I was going to die cause I didn’t believe my body could talk the pain. I hated myself for being able to bathe or got to the bathroom. It felt like living, it felt like the very basic of life and it was an ugly reminder that I was alive and he couldn’t even breathe.

I lost my son 2 1/2 years ago and I'm just now coming out of the fog. I was feeling a bit sad that I was still so upset until people started telling me there was no timeline, grieve at your own pace and don't let anyone rush you. This loss will never go away and I still can't believe it but I know he would want us all "to get on with it".
